How to Write A Good Christian Wedding Invitations | Clear Wedding Invites

Your inexpensive wedding invitation lets guests know what to expect at your wedding, from vibe to color scheme or theme.Letting prospective guests know that religion will play an important role in your ceremony will help them figure out what clothing is appropriate, or conclude that they should avoid attending your ceremony if it goes against their own religious beliefs.

The wording of your wedding invitation reflects your character and your faith as a couple. This may include inserting Christian language.Let’s have a look.

Design -- or choose the front of the invitation

Some wedding invitations don't have any text on the front, but you can add custom text, which can be a perfect area to share bible verses, or say it means a lot to both of you.

Write down the details of the wedding

The exact wording will largely depend on who officiates (or pays for) the wedding. For example, if the bride's parents are officiating at the wedding, you can use wedding phrases like the following:

“Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Robinson

request the honor of your presence

at the marriage of their daughter

Sarah Jane

to

Raymond Earl Sims

When they ask God’s blessing on their union

And His presence in their new life together.”

Finish the invitation with the specific church name, address, date and time

Close with a Bible verse, if you desire. For example, “A chord of three strands is not quickly torn apart,” Ecclesiastes 4:12 or “This was the Lord’ doing; it is marvelous in our eyes,” Psalms 118:23.
